Barry M Nail Paint - The Good and The Bad

Heyyyyyyyylooooooo

So since I'm trying out quite a few of the Barry M Nail Paint range I thought I'd make a list of the good and bad shades. The list won't be decided by colour, it'll be based on consistency and pigmentation because for some weird reason different shades are more pigmented and consistent than the other.
I'll update this list every time I try a new shade :)

So here goes....

GOOD
Mint Green - 304

BAD
Nude - 342 (low pigmentation)

Barry M Nail Paint - Shade: 342 Nude REVIEW

Olaaa senoritas!.... or senoras?

Ok so I bought this shade a while back and it's my first Barry M Nail polish. Shocking I know! But I've just recently gotten into the whole nail paint vibe and used to use all my old stuff. Trouble is that it's ... Well old.
So I used this yesterday and I didn't like it one bit. I know Barry M do great nail polishes because of reviews i've read online and feedback from friends, im guessing its just this shade that's a let down.

The polish isn't rich in colour like I expected it to be, you could say that it's not very pigmented. It's quite a watery polish and I've tried putting it in the fridge for a couple of hours and re-trying but alas, it did not make a difference. I applied around 6 coats hoping I would see a difference but I didnt.
The picture below with my nail is after 5 coats of the polish which just shows how disappointing it was.

I'll rate this shade of the polish a 1/5 stars, the one being the brand and packaging.

GOSH Intense Lip Colour Review + Swatch

Heylooooo loviesss
So at the moment I'm quite into lip colours, lip sticks, glosses and all that kinda jazz and was looking for a new thing to try out because I lost my favourite lipstick and I was feeling a lititle rich. I got paid £450 the week before so you know a girls gotta get something pretty so I did.
Anywhoooooo,
So I went to superdrug and found the new favourite. I bought GOSH intense lip colour in the shade blossom I think ( it doesn't say on the product itself unfortunately), I bought it because it was on offer at £3.99 from £7.99 and because I loved the colour. This is my first GOSH product and its made a great impression.
The product has a glossy creamy colour that's very pigmented and the glossyness reduces after around 10 minutes or so.
The packaging is amazing. Its a rectangle tube that removes excess product and comes with a mirror attached. The brush is slightly angled which takes a couple of uses to get the grip of but it wasn't enough to make me have doubts of the product. The smell is a little strange and to be honest I didn't even notice it because it's not at all strong but my friend noticed it straight away so I'm guessing it'll be different for all of you!
I rate this productmust buy!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara Review!!!

Heyyyyy girliessssss!! ... and possible lads

It was my birthday this week and I got a bunch of presents, this mascara being one of them. I absolutely loooovee mascaras I don't know why I do I just doo and I wanted to buy one of the scandaleyes ramge mascaras tooo soo yayyyyyy

I'll post some before and after pics too to let you know what it looks like worn on the lashes.

The good thing about this mascara is that the little black bits that sometimes come off the mascara throughout the day are non-existent which is amazinggg.

It's the kind of mascara that I would use on an everyday basis, it's not too dramatic yet it still does its job well

I like the shape of the brush too, it's different from the ones I've used before so it's a nice change, it also gives more volume to the inner and outer lashes which is just amazing.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the mascara and would give it a pretty good rating

The White and Black Bow #NailArt + Reviews!

Heyyyyyy loviiesss

soo my partner in business studies at college keeps telling me off for not doing my nails again, he likes the designs and all that, so i thought id do them again. and plus i got bored.
sooo
i brought the MUA nail polishes (£1 (offer) superdrug) (the new ones like look like the essie bottles) and used my trusty old Barry M Nail Art pen and .... VOILA nails done and dusted

The MUA nail polish is DEFINITELY worth the pound i spent on it. I brought it to try it out, i mean for a pound it would be sooooo worth it and it was. The polish is a little thin so i have applied quite a few coats much like the sinful colors nail polish but for the price it is a bargain.

This is what it looked like with a single coat-ish ...

Frankenstein Nails!!! #Halloween + Reviews

This was the first time using a BarryM Nail Art Pen (Boots for £4.99) and I have to say its not so bad. I got it for free though so i'm not one to complain. Wellll it wasn't for free, i got it with points on my card so I didn't have to pay =D .

I'm rambling. Back to the topic.

The Nail Art Pen is actually good, lasts long on the nail but is a little tricky to use. The best thing would be to let the nail polish fully dry before you use it and another thing i guess would be to not press so hard when using the pen, only because if you have quite a few coats on, which i did, then it kind of makes a dent in the polish. It's not noticeable but its still annoying if you can see it. Like when you keep telling your best friend you have a spot on your cheek but it's only visible to you. Gotta hate them moments.

But anywhhooooo ... I used Sinful Colours Nail polish for this too (Boots for £2.99). First time trying tem and i have to say I was impressed with the colour. The nail polish itself was quite watery based so i did apply a couple of coats but the colour was great so it was worth it. Got a lot of compliments for these and I promise my hands aren't really this orangey-yellowey colour, they just look like that in pictures :D
